This was the longest Nordic Walk Denise and I have ever done at the Harold Parker State Forest. The Forest continues to be Gorgeous and one of our most favorite goto place for a good ponderous hike. The summer was dry and we could tell. The Pond usually has a overflow all the time. Yes, even in the winter. Look at the picture below. This is the other side of the bridge near NA9 and there is no water overflowing....  Dry as a bone.  The views always take my breath away. I continue to feel privileged to have the freedom to Nordic Walk in this gorgeous treasure of a place. We hiked about 7.42miles in about 3:41hours.
